These are amazing varieties duplicated by tissue culture, so they have superior disease resistance and uniformity! The Cloni and Moderna are among the best ranunculus, but they are patented so not allowed to be grown again after the first growing season. The Clone varieties (kind of like the French version of the Italian Cloni varieties) were also multiplied through tissue culture but do not have to be destroyed, so if you're wanting to save the corms and plant them again, the Clone varieties would be the ones to get!
