These are started in the laboratory using tissue culture. Although this (and the royalties to the breeder) makes them more expensive, they are disease-free, have excellent solid and strong stems and hold up in the vase exceptionally well! Corms of Romance and Butterfly ranunculus are not allowed to be harvested and sold after growing for the season, but of course you can sell the flowers.
