These seeds were open pollinated, and the seedling will be different from the seed parent, but they should produce seedlings with a good percentage of double blooms since I grow double varieties. The name with the seeds is the seed parent, but the pollen parent is unknown. Although I do my best to send viable seeds (number stated in the title of each variety), some of the best double varieties have low germination, so you may only get one to sprout out of a packet of seeds. If I'm not as confident in the germination of a particular variety I will include extra seeds. So if the title says 4 seeds but you have 7 in the seed packet, please don't be disappointed if those extra seeds don't sprout. They were added for your benefit in hopes that one of the extras might sprout. I grew some really beautiful seedlings from the seed I saved last year, and others that bought from me last year told me they also had success in growing some excellent fully double seedlings.
