You will actually be getting a minimum of 7 seeds (most packets have 8), but this variety produced very few seeds, and the ones that it did produce were difficult to verify viability. So I'm only considering 3 of the seeds in each packet to be viable, but I'm including the other seeds just in case one of them might sprout. Every seed is from these Coorabel Astrid dahlias! Although each seed will produce a unique dahlia, the likelihood of a usable variety is far greater from a fully double seed parent like this, especially surrounded by other double dahlias! Fully double varieties produce less seeds than single/collarette varieties and it is very time-consuming to separate the seed by hand, which is the reason for the low seed count per packet, but I think it will be more than worth it for you with the amazing potential found in these seeds!
